Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for design, maintenance, and implementation of network infrastructure. This will Include but not be limited to firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, and log collection devices. Troubleshooting and collaboration with team on various issues will be required.  Project assistance, upgrades, new technology evaluation, and cross training with other members of the department will also be required. Experience with VMware, Windows servers, and SAN’s will be preferred.



  • 7 years of network engineering experience (CCIE is preferred).
  • Cisco routers, Cisco ASR routers, LAN switches (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, including chassis switches), Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls, A10, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Radware and F5 load-balancing appliances, both Cisco and F5 VPN solutions.
  • IP routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP), LAN technologies (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 802.1q, PAGP/LACP), VPN technologies (IPSEC, DMVPN, MPLS), WAN technologies (Frame Relay, HDLC, PPP), layer three switching, access control lists, Cisco Virtual Switching System (VSS), VoIP, and QoS.
  • Stateful packet inspection firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, 802.1x, and VPN technologies.
  • HA solutions like HSRP, GLBP, VRRP.
  • 10g networks & Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
  • Network Management tools like Solar Winds, RADIUS/TACACS servers, General SNMP and syslog preferred
  • Experience working in a PCI-conscious environment preferred
