Senior Help Desk Technician – Longview

Our Dallas based client is looking for a Senior Help Desk individual at their distribution center. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for day to day hardware, software, telephony, and LAN support.
  • Manage, respond and prioritize helpdesk tickets
  • Responsible for asset inventory and ordering equipment (hardware & software)
  • Provide support for network infrastructure
  • Support cloud services
  • Support and maintenance for SANs
  • Set up audio/visual equipment meetings
  • Reconcile monthly IT purchases
  • Maintains Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide help desk metrics
  • Manage projects as assigned

  • Must be willing to work some Saturday work – flexible schedule
  • 3 years’ helpdesk experience
  • 1+ year network administration
  • Manufacturing environment a plus
  • 1+ year experience in server management, VMWare
  • Must possess logical and methodical problem-solving skills
  • Great organizational skills; prioritizing and multitasking abilities
  • Comp TIA A+ certification preferred
  • Self-motivated individual who can prioritize projects, issues and tasks and work under minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess and utilize good interpersonal skills
  • Project management and planning
  • Flexibility in work hours based upon company needs
  • Team player; Willingness to learn; Good listener
