DESCRIPTION
This is a unique opportunity with an entrepreneurial firm who develops software in the areas of HR, Payroll and Labor Costs for project management. The company specializes in various industrial industries, such as Oil and Gas, Civil Engineering, Commercial Construction and Manufacturing. Due to growth, the company is adding to their sales support team to manage software implementations, training clients during on-boarding, and support after installation.

The PM will interact with and educate prospected customers and clients on the company’s software solutions. He/she will be involved in product presentations and demonstrations, industry related conferences and client meetings. The new hire will become a SME on software features and functionality and be involved in troubleshooting during implementation and functionality post-implementation.

Responsibilities will also include understanding the company’s target markets and industries, interacting with prospects and clients, and supporting the company’s growth as a key representative. Other opportunities will include:

  • Spearhead and host video presentations and demos, eventually in person meetings, as a SME for the company’s software solutionsAd-Hoc reporting to Controller
  • Manage current client base and prospects’ proposals for new business
  • Collaborate with business units to organize meetings with clients, as well as promoting software at future industry conferences
  • Participate in strategy sessions for online training of software features and benefits
  • Train and troubleshoot software and support clients as needed 
  • Solve technical issues during implementation and escalate to proper channels when needed
  • Participate in leadership meetings to discuss software performance, glitches and proposed solutions for continued process improvement 
  • Engage leadership to ensure accurate specifications are included in software development

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and be well versed with the construction industry, preferably with HR, Payroll or Accounting software solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or significant relevant field of work
  • 3+ years’ experience with construction industry required
  • 5+ years of experience in direct and indirect client management and sales support
  • Ability to learn quickly and speak intelligently on targeted markets, industries, and associated applications
  • Support sales department to ensure value propositions are positioned accurately
  • Remain aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, organized and detail-orientated
  • Possess the ability to teach construction industry technology to users
  • Experience with ERPs, Microsoft Office and industry related software 
  • Support quality assurance standards and processes
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation at various levels
  • Focused to work on multiple assigned projects
COMPENSATION
$85-95k
